Solid-State Science & Research meeting (SCIRES) is a multidisciplinary forum for presenting experimental, theoretical and computational research from all fields of solid-state and materials science.

You are cordially invited on behalf of the Organizing committee to participate at the 5th Solid-State Science & Research meeting, which will take place at the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Science in Zagreb from 2nd to 4th July 2025.

The Solid-State Science & Research meeting was conceived with the intention to bring together scientists involved in theoretical, experimental and applied research in solid-state physics, chemistry, material science and geology. The meeting will allow participants to present their research before a multidisciplinary audience and to meet and exchange ideas with experts coming from various fields of solid-state science.

The meeting will comprise oral presentations and evening poster sessions, complemented by a buffet and refreshments. This conference will provide you with a platform to promote your research in front of a broad scientific community of solid-state research. The organizers especially encourage young scientists to actively participate in the conference.

The city of Zagreb is a vibrant mid-European capital with large historical and cultural heritage. Zagreb is a political, economic and social center of Croatia and home to almost a quarter of its population. It is situated between Pannonia and Alps and filled with parks and green areas where you can hide from the summer heat. With the rich gastronomy offer and large number of museums, bars and night clubs, this city will provide an unforgettable experience during your stay.
